Esta es la obra que vamos a hacer en el cole todos tenemos unos papeles muy divertidos y nos gusta mucho
ensayarla ¿haber si ni nos sale bien.?

  Mog and the V.E.T. by Judith Kerr

 SCENE 1: MOG AT THE GARDEN

Narrator 1: One day, Mog was trying to catch a butterfly. She jumped high in the air, she jumped and jumped.

Narrator 2: Suddenly something happened to her paw: it was very sore.

Mog: Meow! Meow!

Narrator 3: She smelled it. It was still sore.

Mog: Meow! Meow!

Narrator 4: Then, she licked it, but it was still sore.

Mog: Meow! Meow!

Narrator 5: She tried to walk on it, but it was very, very sore. 

Mog: Meow! Meow!

Mog thought:

Mog: I've got three other paws. I'll jus walk on them! 

Nicky: Whats the matter with Mog? 

Debbie: I think she's got a sore paw.

Hellen: Mum!Dad! Come here, it's Mog.

Mr Thomas: Poor Mog, let me see. 

Narrator 1: Mr Thomas tries to touch Mog's paw.

MogMeow!Meow!

Narrator 2: She doesn't want Mr Tomas to touch her.

Mrs Thomas: Oh dear, if it's no better tomorrow she will have to go to the V.E.T. 

Narrator 3: Mrs Thomas said V.E.T. instead of vet because Mog hates going to the vet.  

Narrator 4: That evening Mog didn't want to eat her dinner because her paw was very, very sore.

Nicky: Come on, Mog. Eat, please!

Narrator 5: It was so sore that she couldn't sleep. 

Narrator 1: In the morning, she didn't have breakfast. 

Debbie: She just lay on the garden, she was sad.

Narrator 2:  Suddenly, she was not on the floor anymore. Mrs Tomaspicked her up!

Mog: What's happening? It's rude to pick me up without asking.

Narrator 3: Then, she was in a basket. No, she was in a nasty basket shut in, as in jail! 

Narrator 4: She didn't like that basket so she moewed  a big meow. 

MogMeow! Meow! Meow!

Debbie: It's all right, Mog. Everthing is going to be alright. Don't worry.

Car scene_____street sound

Narrador 5: Mog, Nicky, Hellen and Mrs Thomas get into the car and drive through the city to get to the vet.

Narrator 1: Then, they were in the car, there was a lot of noise, they passed houses, trees and people.  

Narrator 2: Mog didn't like that so she meowed and meowed.

MogMeow! ¡Meow!



SCENE 2: WAITING ROOM

Narrator 6: At last, the noise stopped and Mog was in a room. It
was a room with lots of other animals. Then she realized...

Mog: I knew it! I knew it! That's the place I hate! 

Narrator 7: So she meowed more than ever... 

Mog: Meow! Meow!

Nurse: Good morning, how can I help you?  
Mrs Thomas: Good morning, our cat, Mog, injured a paw and we need to see the vet.

Nurse: Ok, no problem, please come to the waiting room, the vet will bewith you soon.

Narrator 8: There were other animals at the waiting room, they were all sitting quietly.

Narrator 9: But Mog keep on meowing...

Mog: Meow! ¡Meow!


Narrator 10: They were all surprised to hear Mog make so much noise.
Mrs Thomas, Debbie, Hellen and Nicky: Good morning.

All: Good morning.


Tom: I'm Tom and this is my dog Flash.

Mrs Thomas: Nice too meet you, Tom. Hello, Flash.

Gerard: I'm Gerard and this is my dog Better.

Debbie: Please too meet you, Gerard, Hi, Better.

Adam: I'm Adam and  this is my parrot Amie.

Nicky: Nice too meet you, Adam. How are you doing, Amie?

Mathew: Hi, I'm Mathew, and this is my hamster Adolf.

Hellen: Nice too meet you, Mathew. Hi, Adolf. 

Narrator 6: But Mog keep on meowing...

Mog: Meow! Meow!...

Narrator 7: They were all surprised to hear Mog make so much noise.

Nurse: It's all right, Mog.

Debbie: It's all right, Mog.

Nicky: It's all right, Mog. 

Hellen: It's all right, Mog.

Narrator 8: But Mog didn't want to stop, she was nervous.

Narrator 9: So she meowed...

Mog: Meow...meow...  

Narrator 10: Other animals thought that perhaps Mog knew something they didn't...

Conversation between animals

Narrator 6: So the dogs began to bark.

Dogs: woof! woof!

Narrator 7: Parrot began to squawk

Parrot: squawk, squawk...

Narrator 8: Hamster began to shout.

Hamster: eekk, eekk.

Vet: What's going on? Oh, no! it's Mog, I knew it! Perhaps i should see her first. Come here, Mog.

Narrator 9: The vet tried to take Mog  but it wasn't really easy...

Vet: Let's have a look at that paw...here it is! she had a nasty thorn in her paw. Now, I'll give you a little pill and...oh!

Debbie: Oh Mog!

Mrs Thomas: I'm sorry...

Vet: Watch ot for that cat!

Nurse: Quick! catch it!

Flash: I'll catch it! (Beginning to run).

Better: I'll catch it (Beginning to run).
er
People: come back! Stop! heel! sit! stay! 

(All the animals running and shouting around the room, people running after them).

Narrator 6: After a while the dogs stopped...Nicky and Debbie found Mog on the top of a shelf.

Nicky: Come on, Mog! Let's go home.

Debbie: back into your basket.

Nicky: Well, Mog. Very well.

Vet: Goodbye! I Think she will be better in the morning after a good night's sleep.

 Car scene_go back home

At home

Narrador 7: And that night Mog had a  good sleep...

Mog: zzzzzzzz...mmmmmmmmm... (sleeping peacefully).


AT VET'S BED

Narrator 8: But the vet didn't have a good sleep...

Vet: Sit" ¡No, Mog, no! Leave that lion! O no! A crocodile now...(in dreams).

Narrator 9: In the morning, her paw was better, there was no pain when she walked.

Narrator 10: Mog walks. There was no pain when she run. 

Narrator 6: Mog runs. There was no pain when she jump.

Narrator 7: Mog jumps.  She was better, she was all better. She was totally, completely better!

Narrador 8: Mog, Debbie, Nicky, Mr Thomas and Mrs Thomas play in thegarden. 

Narrador 9 : And the vet was almost better too. 

Narrador 10: He was  better, he was all better. He was totally, completely better!
